The Tamkin Foundation, Inc., of Santa Monica, California, has made a $25,000 grant to One Heart Israel (Lev Echad), a community crisis volunteer entity founded in 2005 by Ein Prat Leadership Academy in Israel.
One Heart currently facilitates and supports Israeli and U.S. volunteer medical professionals rendering aid in Ukraine and adjacent regions affected by Russian aggression.
This grant honors local physician Debra B. Luftman, MD, who has traveled to, and generously offered her care to Ukrainian refugees in coordination with One Heart.
